PropertyAssist
PropertyAssist provides South Australian land and property information on the Internet, which is necessary to process property transactions. Importantly, the information available through PropertyAssist is the authoritative and most up to date available. PropertyAssist is available from www.propertyassist.sa.gov.au. PropertyAssist is available between 8am to 6pm each business day and is generally available most weekends and public holidays. Services may not be available for brief periods of time subject to system and data update requirements. On these occasions news messages will be published to the site. PropertyAssist provides two levels of access, LSG Account Customer and Public User. Professionals involved in the land administration industry have access to a comprehensive version of PropertyAssist. Industry clients wishing to register as an Account Customer can visit the land Services Group website www.landservices.sa.gov.au and view Account Customer Information to obtain an Account Application. The general public can access selected searches and products and make payment using a secure credit card facility. Accepted Credit Cards

Browser ConfigurationsWe recommend the use of Internet Explorer 5 or above for PropertyAssist with cookies and JavaScript enabled. Click here to confirm that your browser supports these features. Printing details or images correctlyMicrosoft Internet Explorer - Missing Information Printouts: Users operating Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 5.5 may find information missing from result screen printouts. To rectify the problem, double left click on the Title Bar, this will shrink the screen. Click on the bottom right hand corner and drag out to resize the screen. Check that changes are effective by clicking File and then Print Preview. Previously missing information should be visible on screen. Handy printing tips:
Saving details or images to fileUsers can save the property search results using the browser's File/Save As option to save as a .html file. However this does not save the DCDB image. To do this right click anywhere in the image and "Save Picture As..." a gif image in your nominated directory. Viewing TIFF imagesSurvey plan images from PropertyAssist and PIERS Online are TIF Group 4 Fax images. Click here to test that you can view TIF images. Survey plan images are best printed in landscape orientation. You may have QuickTime installed as your default image viewer and are unable to display and print these images. Another method is to change the application that automatically opens TIF file types. On Microsoft Windows, this is achieved by opening My Computer, click on View, scroll down to Folder Options and click on File Types. Under File Type Details, you can change the application associated with TIF files. The Land Services Group is responsible for the management and delivery of land and property information.
