Finding information or obtaining a copy of a Certificate of Title is an easy four step process in PropertyAssist.

You will be able to select all or any of the following:

Step 1 Enter your property search criteria

Select Property Search from the left menu and select the appropriate tab to enter your search information.

Search by address

Enter the unit number (if applicable), either a street number or LOT number, street name, street type and suburb. Lookup lists are provided to assist you with street names, suburb names and street types..- more information...
Click on the Search button to proceed

Search by Title

Enter a Certificate of Title reference eg. CT 5910/9 and click Search. - more information...

Search by Plan/Parcel

Enter a plan/parcel reference eg. D6482/169 and click Search. - more information...

Step 2 Confirmation and product selection

A confirmation screen will confirm the enquiry details and allow you to select from the available products.

  Register Search (Copy of Certificate of Title)

This document presents the results of a search of the Register of Titles held by the Land Services Group. The details on the Register Search are those formally recorded on the Certificate of Title which is now fully electronic for most South Australian properties. Available by fax or email for digital titles with a Volume greater than 5000 and available by fax for metric Crown Leases with a Volume greater than 1500.

Name and contact phone numbers are mandatory fields enabling contact in the event of delivery problems.

  Property and Valuation Information

An online package of information that includes:

• Ownership and plan parcel details
• Capital and site valuation
• Sales details
• Building details (where applicable)
• Property locality map

   Survey Plan Image

A link to view online or download the plan image(s) will be provided if a survey plan is available for the property you are searching. The images are in TIFF format. To test whether you have a suitable viewer or to get a plug-in for your browser, follow this link (opens in a new window).

Step 3 Acknowledgement and Payment

Enter your credit card details. The Cardholders name, Credit Card number and Expiry date fields are mandatory. Use the optional 'Your Name on Tax Invoice' and 'Your ABN' fields if these are required on your tax invoice.

You must acknowledge PropertyAssist Terms and Conditions before your payment can be finalised.

Accepted credit cards are MasterCard and Visa.

Step 4 Transaction Receipt and Results

The transaction receipt and results web page provides a Tax Invoice and the results of the products ordered on the Confirmation screen. The Tax Invoice will include your name and ABN number if entered on the Payment page and will always be the top section.

Register Search confirmation
This section only appears if a Register Search has been ordered and confirms the delivery details.

Property and Valuation Information
This section contains the results of your Property and Valuation Information order and consists of a number of sub-sections.

• Title Details - includes CT Reference, Status, Estate type, Area
• Parcel Details - includes plan type and number
• Sales Details - includes date of last sale, sale type, address for notices
• Constraints - includes incumbrances, stoppers, conditions
• Valuation Information - includes valuation number, zone code, site and capital value, land use, improvements
• Building Details (if available) - includes building style, construction year, condition
• Property Locality Map - displays a property locality map depicting the identified property and surrounding land parcels. Further searches can be made for an additional fee by clicking on the adjacent land parcels on this map
