Address Address
Addresses in a property search have to be exactly as stored in our Land
Information System to locate property information. It is recommended that
you use the lookup boxes to help get the correct spelling for street and
suburb names and also for the correct abbreviated street type. Type in
the first three characters and click on the magnify icon Either click [close] or click In many rural areas there are no addresses held in the Land Information System. Plan/Parcel identifiers can be obtained by locating the property from online maps using the Property Location Browser. Title ReferenceA Certificate of Title consists of a title prefix eg. CT, a volume number eg. 5432 and a folio number eg. 123. Crown Leases (prefix CL) and Crown Records (prefix CR) can also be used for property searching. Council rates notices usually have this information. Plan/ParcelEach parcel of land in South Australia has a unique identifying reference consisting of a plan component and a parcel component. A typical plan reference might be D12345 (Deposited Plan 12345) and the parcel reference might be 1 (allotment 1 in that plan). In rural areas there are also sections in Hundreds and allotments in Government Towns. In this case, the plan component is a Hundred or Town number (you can also use the name) and the parcel component is a section or allotment number. Related Information: |
