Lodgement Notes
Purpose:
Power of Attorney is required to be deposited in the LTO where a dealing with land is to occur. May be lodged with a duplicate, attested copy or photocopy. One registration fee is payable per grantor.
Note that an exception to this occurs when the power is specifically a joint power for the purpose of a joint venture or an attorney may be appointed to perform a specific act and deal with specifically stated property jointly owned by the grantors.
